Call for Tutorial Proposals
Call for Tutorial Proposals – DASFAA 2026
The Tutorial Program of the 31st International Conference on Database Systems for Advanced Applications
The goal of the DASFAA 2026 tutorials track is to provide conference attendees with an introduction to the state-of-the-art topics in research, development, and applications in database technologies and advanced data management, processing, and analysis systems. We invite tutorial proposals from distinguished researchers, engineers, and practitioners on emerging topics of significant interest to the DASFAA community. We note that a good tutorial should not only focus on the presenters' previous work, but also present a good review of all significant work in the area of the topic. Each tutorial will have a length of 1.5 hours (short) or 3 hours (long).
Important Dates
- Proposal Submission: December 5, 2025
- Acceptance Notification: December 19, 2025
* All deadlines are 23:59 Anywhere on Earth (AoE) time

Submitted tutorial proposals will be reviewed by the organizers based on the significance of the topic and the balance between breadth and depth of content. Accepted tutorials will be scheduled as parallel sessions during the main DASFAA 2026 conference, and tutorial slides will be made available on the conference website.
An honorarium will be provided for each accepted tutorial (note: tutorial speakers are required to register for the conference). The titles of the accepted tutorials and the names of the presenters will be included in the conference proceedings.
